Service Description
You will be responsible for the
Civil Engineering
component within multidisciplinary high-voltage grid projects, from the final design phase through to project completion. This role mainly focuses on engineering studies and technical support during the construction of substations and high-voltage installations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop technical solutions during the design phase.
Provide input for project budgets and schedules.
Manage, coordinate, monitor, and follow up on permit applications and execution studies, including:
Environmental studies
Structural engineering studies for civil structures
Architectural and construction drawings
Inform designers during the detailed engineering phase about the project's technical requirements and ensure the scope is executed correctly.
Manage and review the work of external engineering consultants and study partners.
Prepare technical procurement documentation for contractor selection and contracting.
Provide technical support during the tendering process and project execution.
Take final responsibility for the quality of civil engineering studies.
Gather feedback and organize evaluations after completed studies to drive continuous quality improvement.
Coordinate and report to the multidisciplinary project team.
Additional Requirements
A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
Fluent Dutch and a good command of French.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Strong commitment to quality.
Solid affinity with civil engineering techniques, geotechnical engineering (soil mechanics), and basic structural analysis/stability calculations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Solution-oriented and proactive, with the ability to propose alternatives and solutions to move projects forward.
