Join our Accounting, Reporting & Control Team in Budapest or Szeged and advance your career as an ARC Senior Analyst Please note that this a part-time position, working time is 4 hours/ day! Responsible for supporting the team with accounting and reporting services, helping to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of accounting policy application, internal control, financial reporting, accounting systems support and delivery of financial accounting processes in conformance with BP's systems and requirements. In this role You will: Review and coordinate end to end / quarter / year end close processes in a timely and accurate manner for complex or difficult accounting areas requiring extensive experience to ensure the correct reporting and accounting treatment. Investigate and find solutions for issues and queries that may require reference to the Group Reporting Manual and working closely with the supported Business/ Country teams. Coordinate and supervise segment reporting/external/group audits related to the supported country/region as the need arises. Carry out regular daily/weekly / monthly activities in a timely and accurate manner for complex or difficult accounting areas. Carrying out balance sheet reconciliation work for businesses/countries supported – query resolution will be handled independently based upon previous experience. Support intercompany processes / Stats and Tax processes / Group recharges processes where relevant working closely with counterparties. Drive process improvements whithin the team and develop close relationships with all relevant people aiming for the prosecution of the improvements. Taking a leading role in implementing changes in processes and systems. Close Work with the Business teams to ensure mutual understanding of all accounting entries and follow up on queries. Resolve queries and issues as they arise with reference to relevant resources such as the Group Reporting Manual, working with the Business teams or other support. What You will need to be successful: Relevant degree or equivalent experience Strong proven analytical and system thinking skills and financial knowledge. Fluency in English Customer- focused thinking Strong communication and cooperation skills both with the team member as well as the in-country business teams.
