Your role and responsibilities
Â
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of traction and propulsion systems for rolling stock, as well as Mobile eâPower solutions, within the railway and electrified mobility sectors. You will execute the divisionâs sales strategy to achieve profitable growth, increase market share, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will contribute across the full sales cycle in a project-driven environmentâranging from early market engagement to tendering and contract executionâwhile delivering value-based solutions aligned with customer needs and ABBâs offerings.

This role is part of the Traction Division, Motion Business Area in Taiwan.
Â
You will be mainly accountable for:
Driving sales performance by developing assigned accounts and achieving order growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
Managing the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, tender participation, commercial negotiation, and contract closure.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, railway operators, and mobile electrification customers.
Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, tendering, product management) to develop competitive technical and commercial proposals.
Identifying and capturing new business opportunities through market intelligence and early engagement in upcoming rail and electrified mobility projects.

Qualifications for the role
2â5 years of experience in B2B or technical sales, preferably in rail, transportation, electrification, or industrial sectors.
Understanding of traction systems, propulsion technologies, or electric drivetrain / Mobile eâPower applications.
Experience in project-based and tender-driven sales processes is highly preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in complex organizations.
Proven ability to identify opportunities, influence customer requirements, and drive business growth.
Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or Business with strong technical affinity.
Fluency in Mandarin and English for professional communication.
