Shape the Future of Offshore Engineering We are currently seeking an experienced
Senior Designer â Structural Mooring
to join a prestigious EPC project based in Monaco. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex offshore developments, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, innovative, and high-quality design solutions.
As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into detailed technical designs that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with engineers, package specialists, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution from concept through detailed design.
Key Responsibilities Design & Technical Delivery
Develop and deliver high-quality structural and mooring system designs in compliance with project specifications, international codes, industry standards, and company procedures.
Produce clear and accurate design deliverables using industry-standard engineering and design software.
Ensure designs are optimized for safety, constructability, reliability, and operational performance.
Contribute to both concept development and detailed engineering phases.
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with Engineers, Lead Designers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent is fully understood and implemented.
Proactively identify and resolve design clashes and interface issues.
Coordinate with Package Engineers to review vendor documentation and provide high-quality technical feedback.
Project Execution
Plan and manage assigned design activities to meet project schedules and milestones.
Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timeframes and quality requirements.
Escalate technical challenges and unresolved issues to Lead Designers and Engineers to avoid project delays.
Apply lessons learned and assess the impact of design changes across project boundaries.
Leadership
Provide guidance and technical support to junior and intermediate designers.
Lead designers on assigned scopes of work.
Act as Lead Designer for designated project packages when required.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Design, or a related discipline.
5â10 years of experience within the Oil & Gas, offshore, or EPC environment.
Strong experience in Structural and Mooring design activities.
Proven ability to work on complex multidisciplinary projects.
