Job Overview
We are seeking a Field Installation Technician to travel between client sites installing manual and Bluetooth-enabled lock systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in home internet, cable, or tech installations similar to technicians who set up internet or smart devices in residential or commercial environments.
Technicians will service 2â10 client locations per day, working independently while delivering excellent customer service. Some overnight travel may be required depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Â
Travel from site to site to install manual and Bluetooth-enabled lock systems
Complete multiple installations per day (approximately 2â10 client sites daily)
Provide a professional, customer-friendly onâsite experience
Perform basic troubleshooting and confirm system functionality post-installation
Accurately document completed installations and report any issues
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
Work independently with minimal supervision
Adhere to safety guidelines and installation standards
Required Qualifications
Â
Prior experience in customerâfacing field roles
Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently
Comfortable traveling between multiple client sites daily
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel
Basic Qualifications:Â
High school diploma or equivalent requiredÂ
Minimum 2 years of work or military experienceÂ
Valid driverâs license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (last 2 years)Â

Preferred Qualifications:Â
Previous field service experience preferredÂ
Associateâs degree in Electrical or Mechanical discipline preferredÂ
Technical aptitude in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, cellular/Bluetooth devicesÂ
Strong organizational and time management skillsÂ
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelÂ
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and driven to deliver resultsÂ
