Join our Team and advance your career as a Tax Superuser SME In this role You will: Acts as a single point of contact for FBT Tax Superuser Team in the operated SAP’s development programs Represents the team in project development discussions, analyzing system setup and creating impact assessments Drives testing the designed solution and presenting the results to project and local tax partners. Takes full ownership of the allocated portfolio’s tax condition tables and the integrity of the tax design of the operated SAP system by following the respective controls Being responsible for SAP Tax model maintenance and if necessary, raises Change Requests Manages and facilitates work with users (tax and non-Tax) to identify risks / issues and mitigation plan related of the operated SAP system Assist in identifying and support of data or user issues Supports members of the FBT Tax Compliance team and coordinates team activities in common projects, provides SAP trainings Develops good working relationships both internally and externally at peer level and represents the FBT Tax Superuser Team both to internal and external partners Manages tax audits from a receiving end connected to Tax Superuser Team’s processes What You need to be successful: Relevant degree in Finance or Economics Relevant work experience in related Indirect Tax Accounting and Reporting area Fluency in English Demonstrated experience with SAP financial modules and functionality Knowledge in navigating SAP, with the capability to retrieve information using various transaction codes for both sales and purchase scenarios Deep understanding of knowledge of indirect tax rules to determine tax treatments for various business scenarios, including chain transactions Good understanding of indirect tax accounting principles, including the recording of input and output taxes and their impact on financial statements Demonstrating strong analytical skills in evaluating issues and identifying underlying root causes Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve objectives Excellent coordination and communication skills At bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you: Different bonus opportunities based on performance, wide range of cafeteria elements Life & health insurance, medical care package Hybrid working arrangement aligned with team arrangements and business needs Opportunity to build up long term career path and develop your skills with wide range of learning options Celebrate in bp’s success.
