Mechanical Engineer Technical Cooling Loop

Design and develop Technical Cooling Loop (TCL) components and assemblies for liquid cooling systems. Translate engineering requirements into detailed, manufacturable mechanical designs. Design piping systems, valve trains, headers, expansion tanks, support structures, brackets, and related mechanical hardware. Perform mechanical, fluid, and thermal calculations to support product development. Apply engineering best practices including GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design-for-manufacturing principles. Create and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and Revit. Produce fabrication, assembly, installation, and manufacturing drawings. Develop P&IDs, piping layouts, routing drawings, and supporting engineering documentation. Maintain design documentation throughout the product development lifecycle. Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities. Conduct experiments, collect performance data, and refine designs based on test results. Evaluate thermal and mechanical performance of cooling systems. Support design improvements through multiple product development iterations. Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to support product launches. Assist with troubleshooting production and field issues. Define installation requirements including mounting, loading, alignment, and mechanical interfaces. Support continuous product improvement initiatives. Partner with Supply Chain on component selection and cost optimization. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams. Contribute technical expertise throughout product development and commercialization. Support multiple concurrent engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
