We are looking for a
System Engineer
to join our Power & Controls Engineering department in
Tranby
. The offices are centrally located 10 minutes from Drammen and 30 minutes from Oslo.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of system solutions within defense projects, working within a structured engineering framework and supporting compliant, integrated technical solutions.
What will you be doing?
Perform structured system engineering activities across the project lifecycle, in line with established engineering processes and governance
Support the development, integration, verification, and documentation of system solutions
Contribute to requirements management, interface coordination, and configuration control activities
Support system‑level integration across mechanical, control, software, and hardware disciplines
Identify, analyze, and report technical and integration risks
Contribute to compliant project delivery in accordance with customer, regulatory, and defense requirements
We think you should have:
Higher education within engineering, science, or a related discipline
Experience or hands‑on exposure to requirements management, technical documentation, and structured engineering work
Experience from multidisciplinary projects or work with complex technical systems
A structured and analytical working style, with attention to quality and traceability
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across disciplines and interfaces
Fluency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
Experience from defense or a serial production environment is an advantage
The role may involve projects where security clearance is required
