Brunel Energy is recruiting a Project Controls Engineer to support a major data center company on a long-term contract based in Houston, TX. This role requires travel to the project site twice a week.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to support the Train 2 & 3 Project by managing cost reporting, forecasting, and project performance analysis. This is a back-office role focused on compiling, validating, and analyzing project cost data to support accurate reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain cost reports for the next two construction phases of the project using advanced Microsoft Excel.
Compile, validate, and reconcile cost data received from the Joint Venture EPC team.
Analyze project costs, labor rates, earned value, and forecasting data to identify trends, risks, and cost variances.
Develop and distribute recurring cost reports and performance dashboards for project leadership.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of project cost data and reporting.
Collaborate closely with the Project Controls and Joint Venture EPC teams to support cost forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting activities.
