HSE Specialist Intern

Responsibilities: Develop awareness and ensure HSE policies and standards are an integral part of the worksite. Assist the team with implementing the HSE Management System, monitoring HSE objectives, assessing local risks and generating local HSE procedures. Monitoring HSE plans and compliance to policies, standards and procedures. Coordinate HSE training. Review of HSE documentation and training material Monitor and follow up on HSE reports and HSE audits. Recommend improvements to the HSE program. Analyze HSE trends for the location. Experience & Exposures: Recent graduate in a Health, Safety and Environment related field. Good communication skills Proficient in both written and spoken English Proficient in the use of Microsoft office. Ability to learn quickly and translate learning into practical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative. Able to follow company policies including Personnel, Quality System, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards and procedures.
