Geographic Info System Specialist-MC (Basra, BA, IQ, 61001)

Job Duties Under broad direction, uses ArcGIS platform to analyze analytical data as well as maintaining customers with spatial database management. Update mc database to be more midstream oriented in our reporting as well as updating database per customer request. Keeps abreast of GIS and related technological developments, information sources, and current issues through continued education and professional growth as well as corrosion NACE Standards. Help other sub-PSL such as upstream business development team with well location customers relative to our warehouses and big data analytics of our revenue and numbers of tanks served etc. Provide field survey on needed bases for customers GIS data for their Pipeline Operation Data Module/Asset Mgmt etc. Create and develop proprietary software program to help Midstream team for analysis and risk of pipeline segment. Workflow Automation for analysis of many miles of pipeline and perform topographic queries to locate potential corrosion areas. Proposals and account management meetings with customers and potential customers with over 1mm in revenue. Qualifications Completion of an undergraduate degree in Geography, Geoscience, Geospatial Science, GIS, or Computer Science and 5 years experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ArcGIS platform experience, Trimble GPS experience, Delorme Xmap, Google Earth, drillingInfo, pipeline knowledge, programming and sql query experience.
