Logistics Specialist Intern

Responsibilities: Provide support for transport requests and monitor delivery dates to achieve on-time delivery Support equipment loadout plans per planning standard operating procedures Monitor shipment/truck routings, leverage consolidation/cargo optimization, and maximize backload opportunities Review work orders, monitor shipment execution and track shipment movements Identify logistics network improvement projects or opportunities. Ensure compliance with the international transport regulations. Track cargo status and monitor performance Update Import and Export systems. Exposures & Experiences Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Business Administration, or Engineering Working knowledge of SAP is a plus Knowledge of logistics rules, regulations and processes Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
