Senior Estimator

You will lead the estimating process for major competitive and negotiated tenders, taking projects from initial enquiry through to submission while collaborating with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, commercially competitive tenders. Key responsibilities include: Lead competitive and negotiated tenders for commercial and Department of Education projects valued from $20M upwards. Manage and mentor a team of 2 Estimators, providing guidance throughout the tender process Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs and competitive pricing submissions Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation Coordinate subcontractor pricing, procurement and tender packages Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions Collaborate with senior management, consultants and subcontractors throughout the tender process Contribute to a high-performing estimating team with an approximate 30% tender win rate
