Vessel Logistics Supervisor Duration: 12 months contract Location: Barry Beach Marine Terminal Rotation: Monday - Friday with alternate weekend coverage Position Overview This Vessel Logistics Supervisor opportunity is suited to a logistics professional with experience supporting offshore or marine operations. The Vessel Logistics Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating vessel scheduling and offshore logistics planning, helping maintain effective communication between offshore and onshore stakeholders. This Vessel Logistics Supervisor position offers the chance to contribute to a high-activity operational environment while supporting safe, efficient and well-coordinated logistics activity. The Vessel Logistics Supervisor will also provide important operational support across scheduling, reporting and cargo planning functions. Role Context This role sits within the broader materials logistics function in the energy sector and supports offshore operations linked to a marine terminal environment. The position works closely with logistics and operational stakeholders across onshore and offshore teams. This opportunity is based within a vessel logistics team structure reporting into logistics leadership and interacting with marine, field and well operations personnel. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for offshore logistics planning and vessel scheduling. Coordinate with offshore and onshore stakeholders to gather operational inputs and develop vessel schedules. Plan bulk cargo and bunkering activity proactively to support efficient offshore logistics operations. Coordinate vessel movements, berthing and loading requirements with the shore base operator. Support cargo planning and load-out activities in collaboration with shore base warehouse teams. Distribute approved schedules and relevant operational documentation to required stakeholders. Participate in daily operational calls to align logistics activities with business needs. Maintain accurate records and support reporting activities, including month-end lift and tonnage reporting. Assist with documentation and record preparation to support audit and compliance requirements. Provide operational support outside standard business hours when required. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Familiarity with marine operations and compliance standards. Understanding of inventory tracking and reconciliation processes. Strong digital capability, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to support coordination across multiple stakeholders in an offshore logistics environment. Desirable: Experience in offshore logistics, shore base operations or vessel operations. Seagoing experience on offshore vessels. Basic knowledge of logistics systems and the ability to support user training.
