Key Responsibilities: Lead installation and construction engineering activities across transport and installation packages for projects, tenders and studies. Act as the key technical interface within the project, working closely with project management to ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements. Review the installability of company or third-party products, tooling and equipment, and provide technical input and clarification to stakeholders. Take responsibility for the readiness, preparation and execution of allocated installation engineering activities with a strong focus on safety, quality and security behaviours. Monitor engineering performance against budgeted hours and report scope expenditure in line with progress. Manage installation and construction queries, identify variations from contract requirements, and communicate relevant technical points clearly. Own the installation and construction engineering schedule, reviewing programme demands and addressing change where required. Lead and coordinate constructability reviews, risk assessments and readiness reviews, providing technical direction on proposed installation methodologies. Support design reviews and product HAZID activities to ensure products and tooling are suitable for offshore installation. Promote best practice through lessons learned, new technologies and relevant industry guidance to strengthen installation and operations execution. Support procurement planning for installation and construction activities, including technical input to RFQ and ITB processes for temporary installation aids and equipment. Coach, mentor and guide engineers within the team, including graduate engineers, to support capability development and alignment with engineering standards and processes. Must?Have Skills: Master’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant engineering discipline. Strong technical foundation in Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF) and vessel operations, including design related to installation and construction activities. Proven experience in umbilical or flexible lay and lifting operations, supported by relevant project track record. At least 8 years of professional experience in the offshore or subsea installation industry. Experience in risk assessment, mitigation management and management of change. Ability to lead a multi-discipline engineering team. Ability to teach, coach and guide graduate engineers through project challenges. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively across multiple internal departments within a global organisation. Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Offshore training and certification such as BOSIET, as required for offshore campaign attendance. Nice?to?Have: Portuguese language skills.
