Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
CNC Lathe Operator
with experience operating
Mazak-controlled machines
in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CNC lathe equipment used in the production of precision components while meeting quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor CNC lathes utilizing
Mazak controls
.
Set up, load, and unload materials and parts to support production requirements.
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications and established standards.
Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
Ensure machine guards, safety devices, and personal protective equipment (PPE) are used at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform material handling duties, including using forklifts or overhead cranes when required.
Support continuous improvement and assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous CNC machining experience, preferably operating
Mazak-controlled CNC lathes
.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Experience with precision measuring tools and interpreting work instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods.
Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment requiring prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
Flexible schedule availability, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must be able to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced production setting.
