Warehouse / Material Operator

What You Will Do:
Exhibit safe work habits and comply with all company safety regulations and guidelines
Assist with material movement throughout warehouse and manufacturing areas
Perform shipping and receiving activities for order fulfillment and inventory replenishment
Load and unload containerized and bulk materials from transport trucks, including sampling and required approvals
Stage drums, totes, and materials for production and shipment
Operate forklifts and RF scanning devices to move, track, and store materials
Conduct daily forklift inspections and ensure safe operation of equipment
Maintain accurate inventory control, labeling of goods, and sample management
Support quality improvement processes and participate in team-based initiatives
Apply spill containment and cleanup procedures when required
Ensure vendors and contractors adhere to plant safety policies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to team performance goals
Participate in safety meetings, planning committees, and team functions
Learn and apply Continuous Improvement (CI) principles in daily tasks
Perform additional duties as assigned
Position Details:
Work Environment: On-site, supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations
Ability to work various shifts as required
Role is safety-sensitive
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
6 months of relevant experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to become certified
Ability to operate handheld or mounted computer devices (RF scanners, etc.)
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
Willingness to wear required PPE, including respirators and fall protection
Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, squat, reach overhead, and perform physical tasks
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Forklift certification
Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement or Lean principles
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
