Qc Inspector

Perform inspections and quality surveillance of Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC, and Cathodic Protection systems, including pipeline cathodic protection installations, throughout fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, start-up, and handover phases. Witness, verify, and document Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC, and Cathodic Protection equipment and systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), applicable international codes and standards, and client requirements Inspect installation of transformers, switchgears, MCCs, distribution panels, UPS systems, cables, junction boxes, field instruments, control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA), and associated equipment Verify cable laying, cable routing, termination, glanding, earthing/grounding, lighting, and electrical equipment installation activities Inspect instrumentation installations including impulse tubing, instrument hook-ups, control valves, transmitters, analyzers, junction boxes, and marshalling cabinets Witness and monitor testing activities include insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, grounding measurements, loop checking, calibration, functional testing, and system acceptance tests Verify material receiving inspections and ensure compliance of electrical and instrumentation equipment with approved specifications and material certifications Review inspection records, test reports, calibration certificates, and quality documentation for completeness and compliance Coordinate inspection activities with construction, commissioning, contractor, personnel to ensure timely execution and resolution of quality issues Identify, document, and report non-conformities, and follow up corrective actions through close-out Ensure measuring and test equipment are calibrated and suitable for use Ensure inspection records are maintained and support the implementation of the Project Quality Management System and HSE requirements
