Civil / Structural Supervisor
The Role
As Structure/Civil Supervisor, you will ensure that civil and structural construction activities are executed by the EPC Contractor and its approved subcontractors in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and the Contract Agreement — covering construction methods, safety, quality, and schedule.
Key responsibilities:
• Inspire safety commitment across Client, Contractor, and Subcontractor teams through visible HSE leadership and constant site presence
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor civil/structural construction activities up to sub-system handover to the Commissioning team
• Verify discipline progress reporting and participate in quality surveillance programs, inspecting works per approved ITPs
• Support development of execution plans, method statements, and construction procedures aligned with project strategies
• Support the discipline Superintendent in resolving technical issues, working transversally with package superintendents
• Participate in construction planning meetings, anticipating technical issues before they impact schedule or cost
• Report immediately to management on technical/coordination issues, potential risks, and any HSE incident
Your Profile:
• Degree/diploma in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience on Oil & Gas construction projects
• Minimum 10 years of practical civil and structural experience in industrial plants
• Good knowledge of relevant specifications, technical codes, and standards
• Solid grasp of project execution best practices on projects of similar scale
• Analytical, rigorous, results-driven, adaptable to changing constraints
• Strong HSE culture and safety leadership; effective communication and ability to influence critical decisions
• Fluent English (written and verbal) required; Portuguese or French advantageous
