What role will you play in our team
Provide demand planning leadership and coordination to support Bangalore's role as a strategic demand planning hub for inbound materials.
Ensure effective S&OP integration and disciplined demand planning execution while strengthening supply bench capability, governance, and resilience.
Drive and ensure coordination of all demand planning, process, and exception management within the global supply chain.
What will you do
Ensure successful execution of the end-to-end demand planning and forecasting process through leadership of the Demand Planning Team and strong interfaces within S&OP teams and the GBUs
Drives consistent application of Demand Planning processes, tools and best practices
Collaborates with GBUs to support the annual Demand Plan; develops Demand Planning team deliverables and resource plans to support
Grows and maintains strong relationships and manages a virtual network of stakeholders
Liaises with regional/Global S&OP teams and Central Supply Chain organizations to ensure alignment and effectiveness of x-functional processes
Establishes and ensures implementation of Demand Planning competency models; drives employee development processes within team
Drives continuous improvement of the Demand Planning processes and toolset for optimized statistical forecasting capability and advanced analytics
Provide functional guidance to demand planners on the team
Enforce use of S&OP processes and tools with support of Central S&OP team
Ensure the team is complaint with our license to operate (Safety and Controls)
About You
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain (or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics)
5 or more years of relevant experience
Background in engineering, supply chain, statistics and/or analytics
Experienced in conducting analyses and providing recommendations for supply planning problems using common tools such as:
SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, etc. for planning & optimization
Tableau and/or Power Bl for visualization, Power Query and Excel
Proven self-starter with strong collaboration and influence management skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong background in engineering, supply chain, statistics and/or analytics. Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas)
Strong performer with ability to prioritize work strategically and independently while also functioning well within a global and/or virtual team
Experienced in steering the actions and developing a small team of personnel to achieve business results and meet/exceed strategic business objectives; ability to lead regional / global teams
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Perseverant and resilient in the pursuit of objectives; willing to take on new challenges
Improve mindset; able to anticipate future opportunities and adept at evaluating new opportunities objectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including conceptual capabilities
