Production Tech III

Job Type: W2 contract Duration: 1 year (Possibility of Extension or Direct Hire) Location: North Cowden, TX Schedule: 10/3, 5/3: 8-hour days* Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 3% matching 401k Position Overview The Production Technician supports field operations by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oil and gas production equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring production facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the company's operational, environmental, and safety standards. The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently in a field environment, and effective coordination with operations and maintenance teams. Requirements High School or GED degree Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of production equipment and field operations Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting Valid drivers license and ability to travel between field locations Schedule details 10/3, 5/3: 8-hour days. Employee will work 10 days, followed by 3 days off, then work 5 days, followed by 3 days off. The schedule then repeats. This work week is from Monday to Sunday.
