Hiring: Analytics Applications Specialist Location: Doha, Qatar Contract Type: Long-Term Contract Work Schedule: 100% Onshore Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF Working Days: 6 Days per Week Hours: 8–10 Hours per Day Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Analytics Applications Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and support of analytics applications, dashboards, reports, data warehouses, and Power Platform solutions for major projects within the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, developing ETL processes, managing enterprise data solutions, and delivering advanced Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions. Key Responsibilities ✅ Design and manage databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes. ✅ Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. ✅ Build and optimize data models, DAX measures, and Power Query solutions. ✅ Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven & Power Pages). ✅ Create advanced Power Automate workflows and business process flows. ✅ Develop custom API connectors and integrate third-party systems. ✅ Manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and environment governance. ✅ Ensure data quality, security, integrity, and performance optimization. ✅ Support reporting automation and analytics initiatives across projects. Requirements ✔ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. ✔ Minimum 8 years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business systems. ✔ Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry . ✔ Minimum 3 years of hands-on Power Platform development experience . ✔ Strong experience with: Power BI Power Apps Power Automate MS SQL Server DAX & Power Query ETL Tools (SSIS or similar) SharePoint Excel SQL Development (5+ years) Data Modeling & Visualization ✔ Knowledge of: Oracle Primavera P6 ASP.NET HTML/CSS SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) SAP BusinessObjects/WebI SAP Data Services Certifications (Preferred) Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) Microsoft PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
