Job Description
This position reports to the Manager, Financial Reporting, with working‑level supervision provided primarily by the Team Lead and Financial Reporting
As a member of the Financial Reporting team, this position assists in the preparation of accurate financial information and supports activities that ensure the communication of timely and reliable financial results for the organization.

What You’ll Do
Contribute to the compilation and coordination of Quarterly and Annual Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A)
Assist in preparing MD&A and Financial Statement support schedules and coordinate with Business Units on analysis, including responding to external auditor requirements related to accounting and reporting issues
Reconcile and prepare working‑paper support, working closely with Business Units
Assist in compiling Pension Plan financial statements and Statistics Canada reports
Analyze financial information and accounting processes
Develop and maintain Excel models used to support accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
Support other ad hoc projects and analysis as requires
Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate degree from a recognized post‑secondary institution
Designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting‑related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Keen attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
Strong financial analysis, reporting, and communication skills
Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with multiple priorities and minimal supervision
Proven team player with success in developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships
Advanced knowledge of Excel, with the ability to optimize Excel models
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP or other recognized accounting standards
Experience with SAP, BPC, Workiva, SharePoint, Teams, and/or Power BI considered an asset
