Senior Devops Engineer

Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Software Engineer to support and enhance global derivatives trading and market data platforms within a fast-paced commodity trading environment. The role combines software engineering, production support, automation, market connectivity, and trading technology expertise. Key Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and support front-office trading applications and services. Ensure stability, resilience, and performance of critical trading workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across trading, market data, and infrastructure environments. Build automation and monitoring solutions to improve operational efficiency. Support exchange connectivity, FIX integrations, vendor platforms, and market data services. Participate in a global on-call support rotation. Work closely with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders. Required Experience & Skills 6+ years' experience within Commodity Trading, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking . Strong understanding of: Global futures exchanges Exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle Order execution, allocation, settlement, and compliance processes Strong programming skills in Python, C#, PowerShell, SQL , or similar. 6+ years of front-office application support experience. 3+ years of FIX Engineering experience. Proven experience with exchange and vendor certification. Market Data & Trading Technology Experience with market data providers such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv . Knowledge of EMS/OMS platforms including TT, Bloomberg, NYFIX, and TradingScreen . 3+ years supporting real-time market data platforms, including: RTDS DACS ADH ADS Knowledge of feed handlers, consolidated market data feeds, multicast traffic management, and message queuing. 3+ years supporting time-series platforms such as KDB+ , Shakti , or similar technologies. Technical Expertise Application deployment and DevOps best practices. Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP , multicast, and messaging systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting scalable algorithmic trading environments. Knowledge of regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements (including RTS6 ) is desirable.
