Processing Superintendent | Gold Operations FIFO 8:6 | Permanent Opportunity | Competitive Package + Bonus An established Australian gold producer is seeking an experienced Processing Superintendent to lead processing operations at a large-scale gold processing facility in Western Australia. What's on Offer Around $230k base salary STI bonus Superannuation Permanent role FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth Well-established operation with a strong leadership team Long-term career development opportunities within a growing gold business The Role Reporting into the Processing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of processing operations across a significant gold processing plant. You will lead a team of approximately 80 personnel, ensuring operational performance, safety, and continuous improvement objectives are achieved. This is primarily a business-as-usual operational leadership role , focused on maintaining plant performance and driving team effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Lead processing operations to safely achieve production targets Drive a strong safety culture and operational discipline across the plant Manage and develop supervisors, coordinators and operational teams Optimise performance across crushing, milling, CIL and gold recovery circuits Monitor production, quality, recovery and cost performance Support budgeting, planning and cost control activities Collaborate closely with maintenance and technical teams to maximise plant availability Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives About You Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline Extensive gold processing experience in a leadership capacity Experience as a Processing Superintendent or equivalent senior operations role Strong background across: Crushing Milling CIL processing Gravity gold recovery Leaching circuits Proven ability to lead and develop large operational teams Strong safety leadership and people management capability Commercial awareness with experience managing operational budgets and performance metrics If you're a respected processing leader with a strong gold background and a track record of building high-performing teams, we'd like to hear from you.
