Environmental Lead

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental management programs and field initiatives. Provide environmental leadership and support to construction, commissioning, and start-up teams. Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and project-specific environmental permits, management plans, and regulatory requirements. Develop and manage environmental monitoring, reporting, verification, and compliance programs. Manage environmental consultants and contractors supporting monitoring, remediation, wildlife protection, and habitat management activities. Support environmental incident investigations, reporting requirements, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Interface with regulators, authorities, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure environmental compliance and effective stewardship. Oversee environmental aspects of complex marine and civil construction scopes, ensuring quality, schedule, cost, and compliance objectives are achieved. Manage contractor performance and multidisciplinary stakeholder interfaces. Lead environmental audits, assurance activities, and lessons learned initiatives. Support the development and execution of spill prevention, mitigation, and response programs.
