Bess Ems Integration Manager

For our client, an internationally present energy group specializing in energy efficiency solutions for industrial clients, we currently seek for an expert in field of automation to take on the role of Energy Integration & Automation Manager. Our client' business focuses on providing energy efficiency solutions to industrial clients - PV, BESS, cogeneration. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in integrating all the abovementioned solutions, establishing efficient and well optimised communication between all of them. This is a great opportunity for candidates experienced in industrial and energy automation, willing to commit to development of new business line, create new solutions and self-develop on international projects. In this role you will be responsible for: Managing interfaces between EMS, BMS, PCS, SCADA, grid operators, industrial automation Coordination of integration EMS/SCADA systems for BESS and hybrid installations Taking part in defining energy systems architecture Cooperation with engineering departments (e.g. design department, implementation department) Analysis and optimization of EMS logics (e.g. peak shaving, arbitrage, backup power, load management) Cooperation with external stakeholders (e.g. clients, grid operators, technology providers) Creation and further handling of proper documentation Ideal candidate should have: Proven track record in industrial and/or energy automation - at best design and programming Solid experience with SCADA Systems Experience and understanding of EMS, BMS, PLC/DCS Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC 104, OPC UA, MQTT) Experience in work with electrical schemes Higher technical education (automation prefered) Experience with BESS and/or PV would be an asset Experience with OT cybersecurity aspects Familiarity with or understanding of energy trading market would be an asset With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
