Join our Technology Team and advance your career as a Senior Retail Project Manager The Senior Retail Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology initiatives across Mobility & Convenience (M&C) Europe, with a primary focus on Germany and Luxembourg. Operating in a highly complex and cross-functional environment, this role ensures that digital products, platforms, and transformation initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with both regional business priorities and global technology strategy. The successful candidate will act as a key link between technology and business, driving delivery excellence and enabling measurable business outcomes across store operations, convenience, fleet, and payments domains. In this role You will: Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology programs across multiple countries Drive Agile delivery, leading plans, budgets, resources, timelines, and dependencies Partner with business and technology participants to ensure strategic alignment Proactively handle risks, issues, and change initiatives Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and vendors Provide governance, critical metric reporting, and executive-level updates Support digital transformation, system deployments, and technology roadmap delivery Expected to engage regularly with senior business and technology leaders across Europe What You will need to be successful: Degree or equivalent experience in economics, Business, Technology, or a related field Extensive experience leading sophisticated technology projects and programmes within large enterprise environments Strong experience using Agile delivery management platforms (Azure DevOps, Jira or similar) to manage backlogs, releases and delivery metrics Accountable for program financial performance including forecasting, budget management and investment governance Shown ability to lead cross-functional teams and handle multiple participants in a matrix organization Experience driving governance, reporting, and delivery performance across multiple workstreams Excellent communication, partner management, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and deliver results through collaboration and influence Desirable criteria: Retail, convenience, or field operations environments Technology project delivery within enterprise organizations German language skills At bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you: Different bonus opportunities based on performance, wide range of cafeteria elements Life & health insurance, medical care package Hybrid working arrangement aligned with team arrangements and business needs Opportunity to build up long-term career path and develop your skills with wide range of learning options Celebrate in bp’s success.
