Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer – Power Systems to manage and execute power system projects from engineering design through commissioning and project closure. This role requires close coordination with customers, internal engineering teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned power system projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, including planning, engineering coordination, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover. Review customer specifications, technical requirements, drawings, and contractual documents to ensure project compliance. Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, manufacturing, service, and commercial teams to achieve project objectives. Prepare and monitor project schedules, resource allocation plans, and project documentation. Support engineering design activities related to power distribution systems, protection and control systems, switchgear, substations, and power management solutions. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery. Interface directly with customers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to provide technical and project updates. Conduct technical meetings, progress reviews, and project status reporting. Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning activities. Manage change orders, variation requests, and project scope modifications. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and project governance requirements. Support project cost control, budget tracking, and project profitability objectives. Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution and commissioning phases. Prepare project closeout documentation, lessons learned, and final handover packages. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related discipline. 3–8 years of experience in power systems, electrical infrastructure, substation, switchgear, protection & control, or industrial power projects. Experience managing medium- and large-scale engineering projects. Strong understanding of power distribution systems, electrical equipment, protection schemes, and power system applications. Familiarity with project management methodologies and project execution processes. Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations such as IEC, IEEE, or equivalent. Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications. PMP certification or equivalent project management training is an advantage.
