The role will focus on identifying suitable acquisition targets, researching businesses, and proactively approaching owners to initiate discussions and build a qualified pipeline. Develop and maintain a targeted acquisition pipeline Identify and research privately owned businesses across strategic market sectors Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis Engage confidentially with business owners, directors and shareholders Assess strategic alignment and commercial suitability of acquisition opportunities Prepare acquisition opportunity briefs and recommendations Coordinate introductions between prospective acquisition targets and senior stakeholders Maintain accurate records, pipeline reporting and engagement activity Provide regular updates on opportunity status, risks and next steps
