Contracts Lead

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Lead to support the delivery of a major LNG restoration project in Qatar. This role is responsible for leading contract administration, commercial management, contract compliance, claims management, and dispute resolution while ensuring project objectives are successfully delivered. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, legal, supply chain, finance, engineering, and contractor teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead contract administration activities throughout project execution. Provide contractual and commercial advice to project teams. Review contractor correspondence, notices, variations and claims. Evaluate contractual and commercial risks. Support negotiation of contract amendments and change orders. Coordinate with Legal, Supply Chain, Finance and Engineering teams. Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations. Maintain contract documentation and commercial registers. Support dispute avoidance and dispute resolution activities. Prepare commercial reports and management presentations. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Law, Commercial, Supply Chain, Project Management or related discipline. Experience Minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Minimum 4 years within the Oil & Gas industry. Previous supervisory, lead or contractor oversight experience. Strong experience managing: Contract Administration Commercial Management Contract Variations Claims Management Contract Negotiation Dispute Resolution Experience with arbitration, mediation or litigation processes is advantageous. Knowledge of Middle East contract practices is preferred.
