Repair Engineer

Primary Responsibilities: Issue repair disposition (Machining, Weld, Coating, inlays, Pressure Test, FATs) after D&I following all NOV local and global procedure. Issue repair Disposition of all NCR raised during repair process & perform RCA. Assist Vendors with Technical support during all repair process with NOV Equipment’s. Lead and assist the Repair Team during SPS and other major jobs. Identify and develop Vendors to repair of NOV Equipment’s, Support Vendors for WPS Qualification. Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities: Improve efficiency with development of Tools / Instruments / New Equipment’s Identify and develop new vendors for repair process. Review QC inspection report. Assist QC team to develop & review SOW for repair. Assist Planning Team to finalize scope for quotes including BOM. Assist planning team to provide cost estimation of 3rd party repairs. Assist Purchase group to identify local source parts. Perform PIB checks during Repair process of equipment at all stages. Closely work with Shop Supervisors and provide necessary support. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Comply with all ARM Company and HSE policies and procedures Education/Qualifications: Engineering Degree/Diploma in related field. Experience Required: 3+ Years Work Experience in Repair & Inspection of Drilling equipment Knowledge in Drilling Equipment Repair process. Key Competencies & Skills: Well verse to read mechanical drawings, electrical & hydraulic schematics. Computer & Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge. Verbal and written Communication. Knowledge in ERP & Tracker system. Basic Knowledge in cost estimation
