Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a QA Officer for our Multinational Pharmaceutical client based in Haarlem. Initial 6-month contract. This is a fully onsite position. The team Their Quality Assurance department ensures that all their products are manufactured, processed, tested, packaged, stored, and distributed in accordance with very high quality standards and applicable laws and regulations. By fostering close collaboration between our internal production facilities and external partners and suppliers, they maintain a global production network dedicated to ensuring a validated and reliable supply for customers and patients worldwide. Within the Quality Release department, there is a sub-department known as Quality Release Blister. The Quality Release Specialties team supports the entire Haarlem site regarding quality assurance and quality release activities for various products, as well as the market introduction of new products. Main Responsibilities of the role Reporting to the Quality Release Manager, as a Quality Assurance Officer – Specialties, you are responsible for, among other things: Supporting departments in implementing guideline changes (via Veeva, VReg, and Change Control processes). Contributing to a growing quality awareness within the business environment of their Haarlem production site, promoting the quality system, and acting as the Quality representative within various systems. Participating in the introduction of new products. You are responsible for quality aspects within these projects. Handling Quality Assurance responsibilities for a number of products. Reviewing and approving ZERT, ZERP, and ZDSB creations. Assessing Quality Standards and configuring them in the appropriate software systems (GLIMS and SAP). Material control review/approval in SAP. Reviewing Certificates of Analysis (both manually and within SAP). Leading investigations for deviation management when necessary. Writing and maintaining relevant QMS procedures. Regulatory compliance activities, such as managing the Registered Country Table. Reviewing and approving artwork, component Bills of Materials, and bulk Bills of Materials. Required Qualifications and skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to pharmaceuticals, life sciences, process engineering, or chemistry. At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience in quality within a GMP environment. Experience with (implementing/configuring) SAP, LIMS, and Veeva is a plus. Experience with packaging technology is an asset. Experience with pharmaceutical product registration is an asset. Persuasive, result-oriented, accurate, flexible, and able to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English. 20/20 vision (vision test may be required).
