Senior Projects Hse Risks Simops Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Projects HSE Risks & SIMOPS Engineer to support major offshore brownfield projects in Qatar. This position plays a key role in leading HSE risk management, SIMOPS coordination, and ensuring safe project execution throughout engineering, installation, and offshore operations. Key Responsibilities Lead HSE and project risk management activities throughout project execution. Prepare, coordinate, and implement SIMOPS dossiers. Support project teams in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks. Review contractor HSE documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements. Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments. Maintain project risk registers and monitor mitigation actions. Coordinate with operations, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe offshore execution. Promote a strong HSE culture across project teams. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 12 years of HSEQ and Risk Management experience within the Oil & Gas industry. Strong experience with: SIMOPS Planning & Coordination HSE Management Systems Project Risk Management Offshore Brownfield Projects HSE Audits & Inspections Construction & Installation Activities Knowledge of international HSEQ standards and best practices. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English.
