Process Engineering Specialist

Orion Group Sciences are seeking a Process Engineering Specialist to work with our multinational pharmaceutical client in Boxmeer. The Role: Serve as a subject matter expert in processing and equipment, including installation, comissioning, qualification etc. of such process and equipment as: o Clean utilities (PW, WFI, clean steam) o Media preparation units o Fermentation processes (bacterial and cell culture) o Downstream processing (e.g., filtration, centrifugation, homogenization) o Single-use equipment o Sterilization equipment/autoclaves o Freeze-dryers o Process control systems (PLC and DCS) o System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Requirements: Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Bio)chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field At least 5–10 years of relevant work experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry Proficiency in technical writing and the design of process engineering installations Good command of Dutch and English People are our business worldwide Orion Group was founded in 1987 and is now one of the largest, independent, international recruitment companies.
