Entity: Technology Job Family Group: IT&S Group Job Description: As a Delivery Manager for Fuel Supply & Logistics, you will help shape and deliver the digital platforms that keep fuel planning, scheduling, and distribution moving across the TA network. You will lead the roadmap and delivery of mission-critical solutions, including modernization of Fuel Shepherd, cloud migration, and operational improvements that strengthen forecasting, planning, and supply chain performance. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with business partners, engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to turn complex supply challenges into practical, scalable technology solutions. You will make day-to-day decisions on priorities, delivery quality, budget, and timelines while ensuring outcomes are aligned to bp’s operational, financial, customer, and business goals. What you will deliver Technology delivery management: Oversee projects involving the development and implementation of products, platforms, and business processes that support TA fuel planning, supply scheduling, terminal/lift coordination, and site-level fuel availability. Create and manage roadmaps, schedules, and budgets for initiatives such as Fuel Shepherd modernization, cloud migration, and operational enhancements across the TA network. Act as the main liaison between TA Fuel Supply, Logistics, Pricing, Finance, bp Digital, development teams, and globally dispersed partners at various levels within and outside of bp. Incorporate Agile frameworks to align and track project progress, resolve dependencies, and ensure continuous delivery of value. Data-driven decision-making: Monitor the health and performance of TA supply platforms and processes, including forecasting accuracy, scheduling efficiency, inventory visibility, exception management, and operational reliability across fuel supply and logistics workflows. Champion transparency across bp and TA by showcasing work in progress, elevating delivery and operational metrics, and seeking regular feedback from fuel supply leaders, logistics coordinators, site operations, and internal users. Resource and vendor management: Strategically manage internal teams, external suppliers, and technology partners supporting TA delivery, including bp Digital teams and partner squads such as Infosys and Accenture. Balance capacity across product, engineering, architecture, data, integration, cloud, and operations teams to deliver Fuel Supply & Logistics priorities efficiently without compromising quality. Financial management: Oversee budget planning, allocation, and tracking for TA Fuel Supply & Logistics initiatives, including platform modernization, cloud migration, vendor delivery, and operational improvement work. Monitor financial performance, control costs, and provide accurate reporting to support decision-making, optimize resource utilization, and ensure investment is aligned with TA business priorities and bp governance expectations. What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications) Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience. Strong supply chain experience in oil and gas, including familiarity with fuel supply, logistics, terminal operations, inventory, scheduling, or distribution processes. Strong understanding of SAP ERP is a plus, particularly where it supports supply chain, finance, procurement, inventory, logistics, or enterprise integration processes. Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud data ecosystems is a plus, especially where they are used to unlock operational insights, improve forecasting, and create measurable business value across supply chain and logistics. Ability to maximise AI-enabled tools and automation to improve delivery effectiveness, accelerate analysis, identify process improvements, and help teams work more efficiently while maintaining strong governance and quality standards. Excellence in balancing strategic priorities with tactical execution, with solid attention to detail. Outstanding communication and influence skills, with the ability to engage with a broad range of collaborators and prioritize demands. Motivated by the challenges of solving complex problems and a passion for making things happen. The Delivery Manager at this level demonstrates ownership of delivering initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and teams. They effectively lead delivery teams, balancing strategic priorities with tactical execution to achieve business outcomes. They guide resource planning and financial tracking, ensuring budgets and timelines are met without compromising quality. They act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations, and resolving escalated risks and dependencies. They promote Agile methodologies and continuously improve team performance through feedback and process optimization.
