<br> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; text-decoration: underline;">JOB PURPOSE</span></span></strong></p><p><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">Review, study, supervise, and provide operational, technical, and engineering expertise on different elements</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">which include, but not limited to, process control, advanced process control (APC), optimization (RTO),</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">digitalization and higher level applications, alarm management, Laboratory information management system</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">(LIMS) and process information management system (PI) to contribute in ensuring high reliability, performance,</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">profitability, sustainability, and efficiency in the Company’s operations in line with the set HSE standards.</span><br><br><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; text-decoration: underline;">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</span></span></strong></p><p><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">Process Automation Engineering</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Review, study and provide technical and engineering expertise in the field of Process Automation</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">covering base layer process control, control loop performance assessment, advanced process control,</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">real time optimization, alarm management system, digitalization and automation to contribute in</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">increasing the Plant’s performance and reducing the operating costs.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Review and recommend, on a periodic basis, improvements to Process Automation systems in</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">compliance with the OT/IT security policies and OEM standards to prevent cyber security threats.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Facilitate the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of process automation</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">activities at the Site to meet the planned output.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Develop and update the relevant procedures to maintain robust and consistent processes.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing process automation applications and systems in terms</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">of uptime, performance, monetary benefits, standardization, and obsolescence.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Conduct judicious analysis on various alternatives for optimum solutions to effectively support the</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">Plant’s operations.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Lead/review the feasibility studies and proof of concepts, conducted by external consultants, to evaluate</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">the financial and technical viability of applications.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Lead the approved projects’ implementation, carried-out by external consultants, during different</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">activities and phases which include, but not limited to, the scope of work, tender documents, technical</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">bid evaluation, engineering, installation and commissioning.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Develop/review the scope of work to facilitate the process automation processes’ implementation in</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">conformity with HSE measures and OT security requirements.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">• Develop/lead the development performed by external consultants on new and existing applications</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-s
