Engineer Network Operation

<br> <p><strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">JOB PURPOSE:</span></strong></p><ul><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To ensure Optimum utilization of available resources- manpower and material.</span></li><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To plan, organize and supervise operations and maintenance for all PE network and Steel   pipeline related activities and provide support for the operation and maintenance planning including cost estimation, project planning and review of work packages.</span></li><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To operate all gas distribution network (PE/Steel pipeline)   in line with best industry practices based on approved applicable standards.</span></li><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To operate PRS, Primary Customer Meter installations, Cathodic Protection system as per company procedures and standards.</span></li><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To participate in the PE network and Steel pipeline related operations and maintenance contracts preparation.</span></li><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To ensure that all preformed activities under this role are in compliance with applicable HSE policies and procedures at all times.</span></li><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To participate in non-routine live gas operations and provide support during emergency response situations.</span></li><li style="text-align: left; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To remain fully conversant with international developments and best practice in operation of Natural Gas distribution network and E&I systems related technology.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: black; text-transform: uppercase; font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><u><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext;">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</span></u></span></p><p style="margin: 2pt 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><em><u><span style="background-color: white;">Job Specific Accountabilities</span></u></em></strong></span></p><ul style="margin-top: 2.0pt; margin-bottom: 2.0pt;"><li style="margin: 2pt 0in 2pt 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Plans routine operational activities for NG distribution network (PE/Steel/PRS) as per standard and procedures.</span></li><li style="margin: 2pt 0in 2pt 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Operations Management for Virtual Gas Pipeline customers.</span></li><li style="margin: 2pt 0in 2pt 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Manage monthly meter reads for commercial customers and co-ordination with sales team for timely billing.</span></li><li style="margin: 2pt 0in 2pt 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">To ensure smooth operation/ functioning of the Emergency operations room.</span></li><li>Conducts inspections on NG Network distribution (PE/Steel/PRS) to ensure work is carried out as per procedures and in a safe manner.</li><li>Carries out his duties in accordance with specifications and Company policies and regulations.</li><li>Plans, organizes, and supervises PE network and steel pipeline related operation and maintenance activities including valves and CP system for the natural gas project.</li><li>Reviews and studies actual requirement and utilization of spare parts and materials and plans an inventory to be maintained.</li><li>Monitors calibration of all instruments and gauges as per operation schedule.</li><li>Participates in the development of the gas PRS and pipeline installation and initiate and manage the operation and maintenance procedures and activities.</li><li>Participates in Emergency and Incident standby ROTA and participates in accident investigation when required.</li><li>Participates effectively
