Construction Methods Engineer Duration: 12 months Location: Onshore - Luanda, Angola Rotation: 9 weeks on X 3 weeks off Start date: Ideally September 2026 Position Overview This opportunity is for a Construction Methods Engineer to support the planning, engineering and execution of construction projects by implementing and optimising construction methods, standards and best practices. The role offers the chance to make a direct impact on efficiency, quality and safety across project delivery. This position would suit a technically capable Construction Methods Engineer who brings strong analytical ability, practical construction knowledge and a structured approach to continuous improvement. A Construction Methods Engineer in this role will contribute technical expertise while helping to strengthen construction methodologies and lessons learned across projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver construction methodologies tailored to project requirements, site conditions, materials and schedules. Implement and optimise construction methods, standards, best practices and technical know-how to support efficient project execution. Identify and resolve construction challenges using constructability principles and effective problem-solving techniques. Provide technical expertise on construction techniques to project and site teams to support consistent application of best practice. Maintain clear records of construction methods, changes, outcomes and lessons learned to support future project delivery and continuous improvement. Contribute to department improvement initiatives through cross-analysis, workshops, reporting and the development of construction methods standards. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Management or a related field. Essential: At least 3 years of experience with knowledge of construction techniques, materials and HSSE regulations. Essential: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Essential: Proficiency in construction management software and tools. Essential: Knowledge of analytics and reporting, data management, construction and commissioning, HSSE, quality, regulatory and process safety, leadership and project data analysis.
