Head Of Quality Train

We currently have an opportunity for a Head of Quality (Train 4&6) role. This position is based in Qatar onshore. The Head of Quality (Trains 4&6 Restoration Project) is responsible to ensure the effective implementation of the Project Quality Plan as applied within the home office of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor and at Ras Laffan Site. The Head of Quality coordinates the implementation of quality systems and procedures and maintains a close working relationship with the EPC Contractor Quality Team. The Head of Quality provides professional expertise for the execution of project work associated with the Trains 4&6 Restoration Project activities. Position is a full-time, residential quality position based at the Project Home office in Doha and then transitions to site to maintain continuity of quality leadership during the Demolition Assessment, Isolation and Restoration phases of the Project. Establish and maintain the Quality Management System processes, procedures and plans, plan and initiatives to project costs: Ensure activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Quality policies, regulations and engineering standards and project specifications. Implement verification programs to monitor and ensure the quality, integrity and fitness of all goods and services to ensure effective, reliable and safe operations. Manage resolution of quality issues and monitor quality performance and lead the quality team, promoting effective consensus building where appropriate and provide coaching for the optimum performance of managed personnel. Mentor Contractor, Subcontractor’s and Vendor’s on clients LNG quality standards, expectations and performance ensuring they are competent and cost effective to provide work and services to project. Prepare and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Surveillance Programs and other quality procedures and tools and ensure their successful implementation across the project. Implements Early Warning Notice to provide notice to Project Management about quality issues and trends with potential to impact delivery of the project. Recruitment of the project QA personnel for PMT site locations and personnel performance management. Provision of Site Inspection Services and Third-Party Inspection resources to project location needs. Implement project audit schedules and integrate PMT participation in the project audit program, monitors audit findings to resolution and closure. Ensures procedures are functional and verifies compliance for technical deviations to project specifications and procedures are subject to appropriate review and approval. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering. Additional quality, welding or NDE inspection related qualifications Knowledge and Experience 10 years experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies. Technical and Business Skills Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decisions using presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
