The purpose of the role is: Deliver Finance Group Reporting support to the Business assigned to the role. Support of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes in accordance with the Group Reporting Manual and any other relevant standards and provide support for other Group reporting requirements such as Balance Sheet Assurance, Intercompany reconciliations and Group Charges. Work closely with the Business / Country teams supported to ensure effective delivery with a relatively high degree of complexity. In this role You will: Apply in-depth knowledge of accounting policy to support CASTROL's financial reporting requirements. Analyze and optimize accounting processes to enhance efficiency and control, seeing opportunities for business operational improvement. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for process enhancement and risk mitigation. Implement and monitor internal control and compliance measures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. Collaborate with partners, adopting a customer-centric thinking approach to address reporting needs and provide insightful financial information. Drive digital automation initiatives within accounting processes, demonstrating digital fluency to streamline operations. Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of business process control frameworks. To comply with any other job-related requirements. This may be defined by an attached task list or defined by one’s relevant team lead or process lead. What You will need to be successful: BSC in Finance/Accounting/Ecomonics Few years of experience in related Finance/Accounting area.
