About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Facilities Engineer (Mechanical)
to support LNG facilities engineering activities, feasibility studies, Management of Change (MOC), asset integrity initiatives, and continuous improvement projects for company assets.
The successful candidate will provide engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while supporting operational excellence and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Prepare
Techno-Economic Feasibility Studies
and Engineering Studies related to:
Management of Change (MOC)
Reliability Improvements
Regulatory Compliance
Safety & Environmental Improvements
Cost Optimization Opportunities
Operational Enhancement Projects
✅ Conduct economic and financial evaluations using
PPMID Models
.
✅ Develop and prepare
Gate Packages
in accordance with company’s Project Management Systems (PMS).
✅ Provide technical engineering support to operations teams ensuring:
Asset Integrity
Plant Reliability
Safe Operations
Continuous Production
✅ Participate in engineering activities through:
Pre-FEED
FEED
Detail Design
✅ Review and validate:
Engineering Drawings
Data Sheets
Specifications
Design Philosophies
Vendor Documentation
✅ Participate in:
HAZOP & Safety Workshops
Value Improvement Workshops (VIW)
Cold Eye Reviews
Technical Review Meetings
✅ Support implementation of engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
✅ Mentor National Development Program (NDP) Engineers and share technical knowledge.
✅ Ensure compliance with Company Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality requirements.
Qualifications
Education
✔ Bachelor's Degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements
✔ Minimum
4 Years of Experience
in the Oil & Gas Industry
✔ Experience supporting:
LNG Facilities
Refining
Petrochemical Facilities
Upstream or Downstream Operations
✔ Experience in:
Management of Change (MOC)
Engineering Studies
Asset Integrity
Facilities Engineering
✔ Exposure to Project Development Stages:
Concept Selection
