Package Manager (Module) Position Overview The Package Manager (Module) opportunity is suited to a technically strong professional with deep experience in FPSO project delivery and vendor package management. This Package Manager (Module) role will take ownership of assigned packages across execution, delivery, handover, and close-out, supporting complex offshore project outcomes. The Package Manager (Module) position offers exposure to multidisciplinary interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, quality, HSE, logistics, and asset management. This Package Manager (Module) opening is ideal for candidates who can manage technical, schedule, quality, and delivery priorities in a demanding EPC/EPCIC environment. Role Context This role sits within the oil and gas sector and supports the engineering and delivery of floating offshore facilities. The working environment involves technically complex FPSO project execution with a strong focus on engineering leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and robust design and delivery performance. Key Responsibilities Act as the formal focal point for assigned vendor packages after purchase order award, managing package execution through delivery, handover, and close-out. Monitor package performance across engineering deliverables, procurement progress, manufacturing, inspection, testing, logistics, and delivery milestones. Ensure vendor and supplier performance aligns with contract requirements, project schedule, quality expectations, HSE standards, and delivery objectives. Coordinate package interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, quality, HSE, project controls, logistics, and asset management teams. Manage package risks, delivery issues, and forecast impacts, ensuring mitigation actions are tracked and resolved in a timely manner. Lead package progress meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders, maintaining clear follow-up on actions and status reporting. Ensure documentation, certification, inspection records, and handover deliverables are submitted in line with project and engineering schedules. Support project reporting by providing accurate updates on package status, key issues, risks, mitigation plans, and delivery outlook. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Civil, Marine, or equivalent. Essential: Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracting, or supply chain management within the oil and gas or offshore industry. Essential: At least 5 years of experience in EPC or EPCIC project execution, preferably involving FPSO or similar offshore facilities. Essential: Minimum 5 years in a Package Manager, Lead Package Engineer, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, or equivalent leadership role. Essential: Strong understanding of FPSO EPC/EPCIC execution, including procurement, vendor management, engineering interface, fabrication, integration, commissioning, and handover. Essential: Experience managing high-value and/or long-lead vendor packages for offshore oil and gas projects. Essential: Knowledge of contract administration, change control, expediting, inspection, logistics coordination, vendor documentation control, and package risk management. Desirable: Experience in multi-location and multi-contractor execution environments, including international yards, joint ventures, or consortium projects. Desirable: Experience in FPSO or major offshore projects involving multi-yard fabrication and integration, including China and Brazil. Desirable: Professional certification in procurement, supply chain, contracts, project management, or engineering management.
