Lab Technician Ii

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Lab Technician II for our Multinational Pharmaceutical client based in Haarlem. Initial 6-month contract, with possibility of extension. This is a fully onsite position. Main Responsibilities of the role Work with complex systems or perform highly technical mechanical or diagnostic tests in medical or scientific laboratories. Controls where necessary preparatory work and provides materials and equipment. May draw up a simple experimental design itself under supervision. Changes in contract, trial design and execution. Performs, under supervision, trial productions and perform standard tests and provisions. Combines the data into a presentable form. Explains the work carried stuck in the lab journal. Is alert to differences in experiments, testing and provisions. Making calculations and performs automated data out. Displays results by contributors to samples and comments if necessary. Perform operations for the proper running of the laboratory (such as daily management of equipment). Detects equipment failures. Supporting activities such as ordering products, equipment management and cleanup. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position. Required Qualifications and skills Technical Certificate or Lab experience required. Good safety record. Attention to detail. Experience in Pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
