Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Senior Civil / Structural Engineer Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Structural Engineering preferred). Professional Engineer registration is an advantage. Experience 10+ years in structural design and construction of large buildings and infrastructure projects. Minimum 6 years in a supervisory role. Experience in structural engineering, project management, and construction activities. Knowledge of BS, EN, ASTM, and relevant industry standards. Experience with water-retaining structures, dewatering, commissioning, and handover activities preferred. Proficient in MS Office and structural design software. Strong communication and technical reporting skills. Key Responsibilities Provide civil/structural engineering support across project phases. Review and approve drawings, specifications, calculations, materials, and method statements. Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and engineering standards. Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities. Evaluate technical bids, variations, and engineering proposals. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Resolve technical issues and provide engineering recommendations. Support project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
