NDT Engineer (NDT Level III) Position Overview The NDT Engineer (NDT Level III) position offers the opportunity to support technically demanding engineering project delivery within the energy sector. The NDT Engineer (NDT Level III) will work alongside senior engineering personnel in a multidisciplinary and multicultural setting, contributing to the delivery of complex Oil & Gas projects. This NDT Engineer (NDT Level III) opportunity is focused on maintaining technical accuracy, coordination and reporting across specialist project support activities. Role Context This position sits within the energy sector and supports major Oil & Gas project delivery. The role covers technical scopes including welding, NDT, FJC, mechanical and corrosion testing. The NDT Engineer (NDT Level III) will work within a technical department alongside Welding & Project Coordination Engineers and Senior Welding & Project Coordination Engineers in a multicultural team environment. Key Responsibilities Support project activities by issuing scope of works and requisitions across welding, NDT, FJC, general firing line items, welding consumables, welding gas, ECA, and mechanical and corrosion testing scopes. Prepare technical bid evaluations for welding, NDT, FJC, general firing line items, welding consumables, welding gas, ECA, and mechanical and corrosion testing activities. Manage project documentation related to welding, NDT, FJC, ECA, mechanical and corrosion testing, including qualification records for welders and NDT technicians. Consolidate quality documentation for issue and distribution across relevant technical project activities. Maintain the project document register and provide status reporting in line with project or departmental requirements. Monitor project welder registers and WPS registers in coordination with senior engineering personnel. Prepare cost control summaries and input project progress data for weekly and monthly reporting. Support tendering activities, kick-off meetings, progress meetings, lessons learned reviews and the proper storage of project documentation. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Degree in an engineering discipline. Essential: Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Essential: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Essential: 2 to 5 years of experience in project support activities. Essential: Experience in project document control management, procurement process, audit process and quality management. Essential: Strong communication skills, a proactive approach, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently and within a team in a multicultural environment. Desirable: Degree background in welding, mechanical, materials or metallurgy engineering. Desirable: Experience in welding, NDT, FJC and mechanical testing within industry, line pipe and fitting manufacturing, inspection, Oil & Gas, onshore pipeline installation, offshore pipeline installation, or offshore structure installation.
