The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Maintenance Technician III
to join our Maintenance & Reliability team on the
Pitman Night Shift
.
In this high-impact role, you will keep our advanced manufacturing technology running at peak performance. From complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to preventative maintenance and system optimizations, you’ll be the technical expert ensuring our production lines stay safe, efficient, and reliable.
What You’ll Do
Keep Production Moving:
Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components (including PLCs, robotics, light curtains, AC/DC drives, servo drives, and HMIs).
Drive Reliability:
Execute both planned (preventative/predictive) and unplanned maintenance using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log work and drive equipment uptime.
Troubleshoot & Innovate:
Read complex wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and ladder logic to identify hazards, defect causes, and performance bottlenecks.
Capital & Facility Projects:
Install, relocate, and wire new machinery or power supply lines in strict compliance with electrical safety codes and company protocols.
Champion Safety:
Serve as a champion for health and safety standards, actively demonstrating Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) protocols and maintaining an organized workplace.
What You Bring
Experience & Certifications
6+ years
of maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
OR
4+ years
of experience paired with a recognized trade certification (e.g., 309A Electrician or 433A Industrial Mechanic).
Strong hands-on background with automated machinery, PLC systems, robotics, motion control, and single/3-phase electrical systems.
Skills & Aptitude
High proficiency in reading electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency with hand tools, shop machinery (lathe, mill), and basic MS Office tools.
CMMS experience and forklift/scissor lift certifications are highly preferred.
Physical & Shift Requirements
Ability to work the
Pitman Night Shift
(12-hour rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed).
Capable of standing/moving across the production floor for extended periods (8–12 hours).
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently and participate in team lifts up to 50–60 lbs.
