Technical Solutions And Estimating Lead Security Systems

This senior position combines technical leadership, estimating and solution development to support the successful delivery of integrated electronic security projects across Australia. Reporting into the leadership team, you'll become the technical partner to the National Sales function, providing expertise throughout the tender process while ensuring every solution is technically sound, commercially competitive and aligned with client requirements. Approximately half of your time will focus on estimating, with the balance supporting solution development, tender strategy, technical reviews, RFIs and mentoring the wider team. With all opportunities generated through existing client relationships, you'll be able to focus entirely on delivering exceptional technical outcomes rather than business development. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of detailed estimates, quotations and complex tender submissions. Develop innovative, technically compliant integrated security solutions. Partner with Sales to support winning strategies on major opportunities. Review client specifications, drawings and technical requirements. Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative technical solutions. Support solution architecture, system selection and technical positioning. Review tender submissions to ensure technical accuracy and compliance. Drive pricing consistency and commercial awareness across submissions. Mentor and support colleagues while improving estimating standards and processes. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and clients.
