<br> <p><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>3. JOB PURPOSE:</strong></span></em><br>To act as the corrosion champion to guide and assist the well integrity engineers of Well Integrity Team with expert advice on the performance of “Corrosion Management” activities viz. corrosion prediction, monitoring, inspection and control in terms of gathering technical data inputs of all the wells, analyzing well problems and recommending investigative and/or corrective measures. To coordinate and work closely with well integrity engineers and filed operations and other technical departments on day-to-day basis with respect to wells’ corrosion monitoring & control related activities & assignments. To provide onsite technical expert advice while witnessing the implementation of special activities related to corrosion monitoring, inspection and control. To research, probe and analyze the latest ‘Corrosion Management’ technologies, techniques, chemicals, equipment and procedures development in the market for possible utilization in ADNOC Offshore.</p><p><br><em><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</span></strong></em><br><strong>Job Specific Accountabilities</strong><br> Provides expert advice on proper handling of downhole corrosion problem in downhole completion string, casing and surface conductor, wellhead, and x-mass tree valves in terms of corrosion prediction, monitoring, control and prevention.<br> Provides expert advice in the identification of corrosion problems, monitoring & investigations through produced water analysis, corrosion coupons & calliper logs and subsequently in the designing & preparation of programs for remedial / control / prevention treatments (chemical and/or mechanical).<br> Review, interpret and analyse data acquired from corrosion logging, calliper surveys and downhole corrosion coupons to assure data quality and achieve job objectives.<br> Research new / modified technologies available in the market for handling sub-surface corrosion issues of a well through interaction and liaison with various forums, evaluates their feasibility for utilization in ADNOC Offshore <br>environment. </p><p><br><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong><br> Provides expert advice on ‘Scope of Work’ for chemical selection testing criteria, i.e. efficiency testing, compatibility testing and core-flood experiments to identify best chemicals for downhole applications. <br> Stewards monitoring and analysis of field trials for selected chemicals through strict evaluation criterion and recommends best chemicals for long term downhole applications.<br> Stewards all implementation programs and operations to ensure that they are being carried out in accordance with Corrosion Management System standards and practices through carrying out auditing compliance.<br> Performs flow calculations for downhole tubular using commercial software (ex. ECE, OLGA) to predict pressure, temperature, fluid velocity, flow regime and wall shear etc.… to support corrosion prediction. <br> Knowledge in material selection for oil and gas field application, specially related to downhole.<br> Oversights Corrosion Management System process output identifies sub-standard practices and performancesand recommend corrective measures.<br> Carries out special studies per management directives on any specific or multidimensional issue related to corrosion problems in sub-surface components to diagnose and recommend appropriate solution.<br> Assists in the preparation of corrosion monitoring, inspection, control related operational activities performance report for the management.<br> Conducts internal studies to evaluate and enhance sub-surface corrosion management performance and optimize activities for downhole corrosion monitoring and control requirements. Issues conclusions & way forward reports to the management.<br> Maintains close liaison with chemical suppliers and services companies’ engineers and keeps abreast of recent developments in the area of corrosion monitoring, treatment and prevention. Conducts studies on adaptability of such technology to ADNOC Offshore operations and makes appropriate recommendations.<br> Oversees future development plans of the assets and to recommend the requirement of necessary studies and assessments.<br> Provides necessary assistance to ADNOC Offshore laboratory on corrosion deposits & water chemistry analysis and reporting.<br> Participate in risk assessment and job safety analysis for non-routine and critical jobs.<br>Generic Accountabilities<br><strong>Supervision</strong><br> Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.<br> Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.<br><strong>Budgets</strong><br> Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implem
