Collaborate with the best As Supplier Quality Engineering - Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible to manage any quality/technical aspect related to supplier’s delivered products. All activities have tight relationship with other functions, i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistic and Procurement. Main goal is to continuously improve the supplier’s Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated cost of quality, while growing and developing the supply base as per business needs. As Supplier Quality Engineering - Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for: Manage Supplier’s related Non-Conformity Record (NCR) Lead the suppliers in the execution of defects root cause analysis (RCA) and support the definition of robust corrective actions (CA) Implement Quality Development Plans for eligible suppliers Qualify the suppliers according to Company rules Carry out periodic Audits to verify compliance with company requirements Check the on-the-job inspections according to the Quality Control Plans Support the suppliers on Deviation Request (SDR) management Support cross-functional initiatives to improve Suppliers Quality Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will: Have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent work experience in one or more of the following industrial processes: fabrication and machining (as a minimum), casting and forging Possess technical knowledge of the following areas: welding (SMAW-FCAW, MIG, MAG, TIG), NDTs (VT, PT, MT, RX, UT), basics of metallurgy and metallography, heat treatment (QHT, PWHT) and CNC machining Be able to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications Be fluent in English and Italian Have PC & office software proficiencyH Have a EU Work Permit Desired Characteristics Have Certifications IWI or CSWIP for welding Have level II certifications for PT, VT, MT as a minimum Possess an attitude to set aggressive targets and change status quo – Change agent, and be committed to meet deadlines and deliver results Be available to travel frequently Possess structured data driven mindset, effective problem-solving abilities and zero-defect quality thinking Understand Six Sigma principles Possess good negotiations and facilitation skills Have good communication and presentation skills Be able to learn quickly coping with multiple complex situations on daily basis BE able to work with teams and people from different cultures Possess basic knowledge of BH (Turbomachinery) products Work in a way that works for you We recognise that everyone is different and the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best varies.
